Similar in its use to the more commonly used Eucalyptus Globulus, Eucalyptus Citriodora has a distinct lemon / citronella type scent. Still an excellent decongestant (used with steam inhalation) and can be used to treat sore throats (in fact, this is a common ingredient in cold remedies sold over the counter). This oil has a powerful bactericidal and antiviral action. Considered one of the most effective plant based insect repellents.
