Helichrysum oil, otherwise known as Immortelle, has superb regenerating qualities and can assist in the healing of scars, acne, bruises, dermatitis, stretch marks, boils and abscesses. It has also been promoted heavily for its ability in fighting the ravages of ageing. Aromatherapists recommend Helichrysum to support the body through post-viral fatigue and convalescence and to repair skin damaged by psoriasis, eczema or ulceration.

 

Helichrysum oil is helpful for circulatory disorders; it can relieve the pain of rheumatism and arthritis. It has a beneficial effect on colds, flu, bronchitis, coughs and asthma.

 

How to use Helichrysum Essential Oil

• Diffuse: Diffuse to help with breathing and to relieve the effects of cold and flu.
• Massage: Blend with a carrier oil and massage to relieve muscular aches and pains, respiratory problems and to help with digestive problems, assist in the healing of scars, acne, bruises, dermatitis, stretch marks, boils and abscesses
• Cream or Lotion: Add to facial cream or body lotion and use for dermatitis, acne and the healing of scars as well as countering the effects of ageing.
