Copaiba Essential Oil

Copaiba essential oil is one of the most anti-inflammatory substances known. It has the ability to reduce pain, eliminate inflammation, protect against infection, heal the skin, prevent fungal growth, boost respiratory health, improve the health of the skin and hair, improve bladder control, speed healing, tighten the skin and lower blood pressure.

Copaiba decreases PGE2 production, and it is a Cox-2 inhibitor – making it very good for heart health (similar to why you would take an aspirin a day).

Its anti-inflammatory properties, together with its antibacterial action make it an excellent acne treatment: just place a couple of drops on a cotton wool ball and dab directly onto the acne – which will have noticeably reduced in two to three hours.
